Folks on my previous car, a Volvo S60R, someone R&D'd a very effective homemade CAI which was nothing more than a 2.5" hose, think shop vac, routed to a centered or offset funnel located in the front grill low. The other end was routed to the underside of the OEM intake. This produced vacuum at as low as 30mph, and netted anywhere from 5-8 HP, depending on mods. I had a quick look at the engine bay and it looks like it may work in the lower grill. What I am not sure is the connection to the underside of the stock air box. This mod was very effective on my R car, it looked very stealthy, albeit invisible to the naked eye. I'm going to look into this further. Could I have pics of the underside of the stock airbox?
Thanks
