I work for a non-profit organization educating employers and employee's about the benefits of investing in your retirement plans (401K). Since we are a non-profit organization we must show a $0 balance at the end of the year (kinda sorta). So we've all been issued new office equipment and software but part of that money is supposed to go into our own personal "profit sharing account". This is more of an "end of the year bonus" than "christmas bonus". I just found out today that our stupid president over spent so no'one but him and the other vice-president will be getting bonuses this year.

When I questioned him about why we, the hard workers, were left out he says, "No'one gives bonuses anymore.". I wanted to see who was right.

p.s. my bonus was supposed to be a percentage of my income and would've come to almost $4200 since I would also get to cash out my unused vacation time from '04. I'm very pissed.

I doubt I'll get any type of bonus. But then again, corporations don't care about their people, just their profits :( Hell, I almost had to work Christmas.

s***, even when I worked "blue collar" I made a bonus of some kind. Hell $250 or something...
i will get around a $250 bonus maybe tomororw????

i should get something like $800 after taxes and an x-mas prime rib
after that, i'm outa there

^^^ I interviewed with them today. Probably will take it. Buy all your HP Servers and Hardware through me!!!!!

LMAO Bonus? No such thing when you work for the state. I am going to make LESS in 2005 than I did this year and that is after my raise for "substantially exceeds" score on my yearly eval (the highest possible rating). (braindead Health insurance is going up for state employees so every one here is pretty pissed off about that. That and there is no cost of living raises and taxes and costs have skyrocketed in Charleston, South Carolina. It is a big tourist trap here and any one who is "well off" is wealthy and usually from up north because it sure is hard making it here! (rant) I need to move.(boom02)

got 600 here, before taxes of course, my company goes by how long you been working for them on their bonus, last year i got around 450...

yup yup, I dont even have family health coverage with my job so I'm having to pay $955/month out of my pocket just so my wife can have insurance.

now with no bonus and her being a full time student I'm going to be broke. I hate my job. I guess it's time

I don't know what I'll get this year last year i got a $25 gas card, but i only worked at that job half the year, maybe I'll get $50 this year... Either way I really don't care because they pay me very well for a high school worker and I've almost made 5 figures there this year... Hope all you full time hard working guys and girls get your damn bonuses!

nice....i need a new computer at home.

i e-mail my boss about a bonus and i guess i get $250 minus taxes along with another $200 for passing an exam today (educational bonos). This will be on next week's pay check on the 24'th. Looking forward to that.......

When I was in the blue collar world, one of my jobs gave us 2-weeks of pay as a bonus. I have yet to recieve a bonus, other than a single $90 gift certificate since I went white collar :(

but on the other hand, I work 40% less (hours), and make 70% more than I did 'turning wrenches'. Also current job I get free health, and matching 401k

I work at a casino, the most un-caring place on EARTh, and I'm getting a bonus on Monday.... no word as to how much yet.

i got a bonus in 2002 for 400 bucks. but after they took out taxes it came out to 233 bucks. and the only reason why they did that is cause they jipped us on our raise for that entire year which they gave to us in the form of a "bonus check". god how i hate AB/BEC...******* drunk communist bastards.
