Holiday Bonuses?? anyone??

I wouldn't expect bonuses to get any bigger. Our country is in a recession, the dollar is falling fast to the likes of the Euro and the Yen, and the people running it don't give a s***. All of us will suffer if the dollar loses value. Oh, and I didn't get a bonus it doesn't come with my line of work

we didn't get any bonuses this year, (frist time in about 12 or so years) Our company is doubling in the next year and they're not sure if they're going to get the funding from the state/county gov. for it yet or not. (I'd rather keep my job then get a bonus anyway!!)

And guess what? The company has been paying me at the incorrect salary all year, so I'm going to get the back pay too! Looks like things are brightening up a bit...

This just in:

Our Board of directors had a second meeting and they were particularly pleased with my performance this year in handling our conference affairs and publications and since we had such a good year (up 16% from our best ever year) they felt it unfair to leave us with nothing. I personally received a $2400 deposit into my 401(k)/money market account and a $1500 cash bonus on my end of the year check.

I'm very happy. I can get bills paid on time and my wife can stay in school! Now if only I could figure out how to stop this computer virus I installed in our server......

When I worked at pizza hut, I got a polar fleece blanket with the pizza hut logo on it, and a little knife that fits on a keychain(to fight off those hunger-crazed bums whilst delivering pizzas). (rofl2)

They took away our party this year and will don't get any bonus of any kind. My company is really starting to suck.

Once upon a time they would rent out an entire resort for us, feed us all the food and booze we want and then give us rooms to crash. That ended two years ago and its all downhill from there.

We got a Holiday Luncheon catered in a week or so ago which I didn't take advantage of.
No cash bonus though. They pay me enough not to sweat the bonus, it just puts you in a different tax bracket if they lump it into your check so you lose like 44% of it anyways.
