HKPRO5's Turbo Build Thread.

Im might get a good deal for wiring up 808MP5s LT8. for the MSP ECU and SSAFC. And he will probably help me tune it also.

I think I'm going to try and tune with the stock ecu and ssafc. If I have trouble then I'll swap to the msp. Mostly because of the premade tuning maps.
 
I am going to get one but I want to try to tune it with the P5 ecu. I have read many threads for people that have done it. There are also premade maps for the P5 ECU.
 
Hmm. So I got to hit up the Dyno today and get a proper tune. Pushing 160hp... But im only boosting 4psi. I gotta find out wth is going on. The SC is rated for 7psi. =(

Although I feel a big difference from the tune it self. It does feel good. Im going to post up the dyno sheets on friday. (I dont have a scanner..=)

Nice work on this build. Im going to have to get a check valve as i didnt know about it until now... Have you changed your cooling? Lower temp stat or uprated radiator ? to help protect the block?
 
What's up HKPRO5! I just boosted my p5 a few months ago and checked everything you have now. I currently run the MSP and SSAFC and I swear it's plug in play with the super map that comes with it. It's really easy just to get an msp ECU instead of trying to tune the p5 ECU.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this to you, but if you want to run the BOV, yes you can recirculate, but you can also put the BOV about 6 inches before the MAF. So it's BOV -> MAF -> Throttle Body. Glad you're going turbo :)
