I wrapped the top half of the header, Im welding in the o2 bung in today after work. Then im going to wrap the rest of the header. Ill post up some pics later.

Mig welder broke..... Not sure when i can get the o2 bung in.

Monday is a holiday so the boss (my wife..) is going to be home.....

So probably my next day off after that. =( Almost there, so close but so far.


good news is that the SSAFC is working great while in N/A mode.

Yea I was just getting too excited. haha. Anyways now that I have time, my friend is going to help me put it in. I was going to do it myself but 2 is always better than 1. lol

got the o2 bung in and wrapped the header.

Painted it Cast Iron grey...

That header looks so cute and fuzzy, I want to cuddle with it. heh-heh. Looks really good, man. Did you use hose clamps to keep the wrap on tightly? Are you going to silicone seal it?

I used these stanless straps (kinda looks like hose clamps..lol)Im applying the silicone tomorrow.

Im doing a bunch of heat retention and cooling items in the engine bay.

Water Wetter, Oil cooler, reflective tape, header wraps/ also sealing up the space between the radiator and the frame.

you got to a vented hood for sure to help cooling quicker but all of the above helps too=)

Completed the Headers still need to install.

Upgraded the cooling system

-300zx rad cap (1.3 Bar) only $8 (Mazdaspeed 1.3 cap is $65)
-Redline Water Wetter
-Distilled Water
-Outlaw Engineering IM and Throttle body spacers
-Both Slim fans wired up to come on together.

Planning for friday to put in the SC...=)

Gonna do the same with my slim fans over the weekend

you may need a relay for wiring both fans together....when they both start up thats gonna pull quite a bit of power
