high offset question (17x7, +55)....

Ok -

I have a chance to buy a set of 17 x 7, +55 OEM Acura 2004 TSX wheels (flat, 7 spoke design) for under $300. (yes - they are 5x114.3) I like seven spoke designs and might want to run them on my ES sedan.

(Yes - I know the centercap will be replaced or painted - it won't show the Acura symbol)

Will the +55 offset cause me any trouble that you guys can think of? Seems like it would tuck under nicely. Could it pose a problem on the inside edge instead?

i believe i read that the highest we can go is +54...i'm not sure though

It will work but the centerbore for the wheel might have to be machined. You won't be able to put them on the car without machining the proper centerbore.
