f/i is a bit expesive for me so i would like to see what kind of numbers you guys are putting out with n/a even though turbo is more of a bang for ur buck i might be happy with a couple extra horses in the mp3 n/a
 
i dont have an mp3 but i dragged against one. he had a dry zex nos kit, but i doubt he sprayed on me.

16.19 @ 87.94mph

stock, with exception of nos.
 
all i have is an aem short ram and twm short shifter and i run dead even with my frien'ds civic ex that runs a 16.0
 
i dynoed at 117 whp and 127lbft..


with an aem intake and 2.25 exhaust with stock muffler..

now im making a lot more power...

im guessing im at at least high 120's and maybe even low 130's


and more to come...


im staying n/a

im doing the guinea pig stuff .. so the others can grow from this...
 
i will be doing some more dyno's in the spring and i will be doing a lot of autoxing with a cuple trips to the 1/4 mile track...


im not about 1/4 mile times... im more about useable power... and handling...

is your friends ex stock?

i had intake engine mounts shortshifter and i was shutting down a local 5spd 7th gen ex with i/h/e also an integra with i/h/e
 
i dynoed 181 whp and 186 wtq with my mp3 with the flyin protege kit cold air intake, down pipe and a 3" inch straight pipe with no cat or resonator on 6 psi. my best run was 14.43 at 97 mph.
 
how much did all that cost you.. i was hoping an aftermarket kit for the mp3 would get us into the 13s, i was looking at essential speed kits i might pick up one of them if the time is right or just go n/a idk i need some more ideas on peoples n/a times

i would be happy with 15s n/a
 
you wont hit thirteens with just a turbo kit, not with the mp3 or 5 anyway. but after installation and everything it came out to be right around 5k for just the turbo and exhaust.
 
i had my car dynoed at my friends shop about a year and a half ago...

im going to be getting my car tuned with my emanage if i can get it fully working...

As for my clutch and flywheel...

i love them and i still havent been able to launch hard with the clutch... i have about 200 miles left on break in...

the flywheel is amazing... it rev's so fast now.. i will have some more 1/4 mile times for you guys in about 3 months when the track opens back up...

i wouldnt be suprised if i get into the mid 15's with my mods...
 
I think MacProtege5 has one of the Fastest N/A 3rd gen's. But he has the PR5. He stated he beat a few RSX Type-S's, and MSP'S.

Impressive! That's with the FP Turbo System? At what psi were you running..6? I know a certain individual with that kit that dynoed at 198 WHP, and 205 WTQ at 8 PSI. Before 5k RPM, his A/F ratio was all over the place. They have 3 inch exhaust. Just imagine where those numbers will be with some tuning. Tuning could easily gain that person almost 20 WHP at the same psi. I say this because HiBoost was making like 214 WHP at 7 psi with the Haltech F10 fuel computer.
 
I've only dragged once in my life and I'm not much of a street racer either, 18.1 @ 79.47mph was my best run
 
the best question is who is the fastest mp3 driver...

i dont care if your boosted or not.. ill take you on in an autox..


autoxing is a true test on a car and its driver...

an autox is 90% driver and 10% car....


i say we have a national meet near the center of the US and challenge the best....
