FYI that is NOT correct:
The Lows are H7
The Highs are 9005
The Fogs are 9006
I installed Sylvania Silverstar ULTRA bulbs in the Lows, with excellent results (close to HID)
I also installed Hella Yellow bulbs in the Fogs, with excellent results as well.
I highly recommend yellow fogs, it makes a lot of difference to me.

No, I meant close to HID in output. They are friggin bright man! At least double the brightness compared with stock, no kidding.
I like HID's too, so you won't see me disagreeing with you on that issue. But, for $50 at your Autozone, the ULTRAS are pretty damn nice. Plus they'll let you return them if you think otherwise. WIN-WIN!
At the time, I only had a budget of about $100 for the entire lighting setup to get me through a long road trip. But in the future I'll go to HID I think... It was far more important to upgrade at the time. The ULTRA's have impressed, to say the least. Way, WAY better and supposedly more durable then Silverstar standard, yet brighter at the same time. I'm not a fan of just bulb upgrading, but this time around it paid off. The fogs were the same thing...good upgrade from stock to Hella Yellows.
So my apexcone ddm slimline hid kit came in today for the headlights and fogs. The installation was very simple. I didnt take off the bumper or anything. It was a little difficult to get the bulb in and out on the battery side; the dust cap is close to the fuse box. For the fogs, the o-rings needed to be swapped because the o-rings on the new bulbs were too large. It wouldnt go in all the way.

Then they must completely blow away the original Silverstars. The only Halogens I've heard of that can sniff HID output are the HIR bulbs that Vipers run with. And they are about as expensive as HID's.
