is a bit hard to make out in the pictures, but where exactly did you mount the ballasts, and how did you secure them from moving around?

3M double sided tape and the ballasts are hidden in the fenders. So far after 6 months I have had no issues with them moving around. Here is the pics...

Oh and here is the download to install HID kit for the H4s, not sure if there is a difference for installing H4s or H4 hi/lows but thought I would include it.

i have 5000k's on my winter beater probe. but on my mazda6, and 626gt im running the 12,000K hid's. and both of them have been on for over 2 years. only time ive ever been pulled over because of them was in michigan where there illegal. (then the cop realized my IL police plate wasnt a MI plate) and he let me go. IL has no set law on the books. so you cant get any ticket for them. michigan does have a law on the books, but if your from out of state, they cant touch you.

That's neat. Well, I won't be doing any out of state driving for a while so I think I am good for the time being.

So...about how long does it take for them to process your order? DDM Tunning, that is. I placed my order like a week and a half ago and have not received anything from them. I even emailed them for a status check and they did not reply.

i ordered a set from DDM, and they did take a bit to arrive. think i waited over 2 weeks. but from what ive read on other forums, thats normal for them. since they so many kits every day, there a little slow on shipping. but i wouldnt worry.

Ok...guys, so I got my lights and I am trying to install them but I am a bit confused. I don't seem to have the wires that go to the battery like it shows in the guide; the red one for power and the black one for the ground. Are those included in the kit or have to be ordered separately?

did you get the slim ballasts?

Yes...I figured them out but I think I got the wrong color cause I ordered the 8k and they shine bright white like the 5k.
