Either way....dealer should cover it.papaalex said:so is there is a problem with either the bulb or ballast? I hope the warranty covers it.. Im bringing it tomorrow to the dealer.. Although i have a gut feeling they're gonna say its "normal"
Yes that is normal for all HID's....as the gas builds up inside the tubes' chamber, it is not as blue/white anymore. It looks a lot more yellow than when it was first turned on. If you stare at the lights you will notice it blue/white. And since the projectors have such a sharp cutoff line...you will notice them flickering a lot --(changing colors from purple to blue to white to yellow to amber) --on walls and if you stare at it from far away moving your head up and down across the cutoff line. Have someone else drive your car from far away on a bumpy road and you will see yellow and amber for a quick second.papaalex said:I've noticed when I turn on my HID lights it initially starts as a "white" color but after a few minutes it becomes "yellow/amber"... Is this a common thing for the GT, does the HID sort of "heat" up to explain the change in color?

So don't worry about it.
