Let's not go there.
lol how come....I never understood people on the board about CAI. It's simple temperature changes. When it starts colder it ends colder if everything else is the same.

The difference in temp. between a CAI/FMIC setup compared to a SRI/FMIC will not yeild enough of a power gain to warrent the CAI...which creates a longer path the air must flow through before it reaches the cylinders.

Oh I'm not sure what or if there would even be a power change, I'm saying if it starts colder then it will end colder with a small IC or a big one.

Hell, I think the same thing about SRI vs. CAI without factoring in an FMIC, but that argument has been done to death already. :)

but "being to death already" doesn't mean we all got the real poop on it.

Okay well I think i've got some good information here guys, thanks alot! Any Reccomendations to keep Engine Temp down? Cause I'm sure as hell not interested in smoke and poof and all that crap. So I'm gonna threadjack my own thread and lets see if theres a solution to engine temp, I've heard of water wetter before but maybe an upgraded Radiator and some water wetter? Also Money is not really the issue. I'd rather spend some cash and get proven results ya know? So lets hear some ideas on keeping the engine cool!!!

for cooling underhood temps try an evo style hood....

i havent taken readings yet to find out exactly how much it helps but all i know is the heat POOOURS out of those vents. you can seriously burn your hand on my grilles in my WW evo hood after a short drive.

I think any CF hood helps because it doesnt have all that sound dampening and flame retardant crap on the underside of the hood which i suspect acts as insulation
