the quality of materials dosent even compare. like fourthmeal said, the ms6 has a very audi ish feel too it. Its so hard to describe but the first time i felt it was when i drove an ACURA TL a-spec. Like the ride was firm, but not harsh, it was quiet, yet i could hear the exhaust when i wanted too, it was comfortable and sporty. etc etc, it was a good balance. Same with the ms6, easier to drive.
honestly if its all about numbers to you then go for the evo, I personally wont track my daily driver so i care about the feel of it, I still get the rush of the turbo and and all wheel drive with lots more refinement. To put it simply, if i dident get this car, then it was going to be a bmw 335i (twin turbo) for me. That was the only other car that could compare in driver satisfaction. but something about being able to buy 2.5 ms6 at the price i got it for (brand new) compared to 1 bmw dident quite appeal to me, as much as i would have loved a bimmer, I love this car even more and its tons more practical.
Dont get me wrong though, when i was younger 18-19 ish, i ran with the tuner crowd and was dead set on getting the new evo, but when i actually drove it and started looking around at compareable cars, it wasent so appealling to me anymore. I'm 21 now and still modify my cars, but no longer am willing to sacrifice everyday driving for all out performace, i have a seperate car for that.
it comes down to what fits you best. the minute you drive the car, you will know if its right for you or not. just ask yourself, will i still wanna get in and drive it in 3-5 years down the road. Also, this is just a personal preferance, but i would not get a used evo.
gl shopping.
