Hey BigBlue i remember you saying you used the Mothers 3 step waxing program/products they have...youre Canadian how much does it cost at Candian Tire aprox.? Are you happy with what it does? Is it hard to do? Consider ive never really done stuff like this to a car i have, will it be hard to teach myself with those products?

Yup I sure do. Now you are giving me a pretty good quiz here as to the exact cost...but expect to pay about 6 or 7 bucks per container....so if you go with the whole deal(including the soap of course) you'd be spending about 25 bucks. I am very happy with the quality. My buddy who owns a nice Prelude insisted I clean the car properly(I had no clue either so don't feel bad). It's not hard at all....it's time consuming tho for sure! My suggestion would be that while you are there, also pick up a washing mit and a lot of 100% cotton towels(they should have them in bundles for sale there as well). Like I said, you'll have no problem...read the application instructions and enjoy the shiny car. :)

Thanks Blue you told me everything I needed to know! I'll be going to Canadian Tire today, thanks for the tip on the mit and the towels

Well I went and bought the 3 step wash and wax stuff from mothers...i forgot that for Xmas my mom had bought me the car wash stuff from Mothers as well (credit to her for knowing which is the good stuff!)....I also bought the scratch remover stuff they have...so after buying the 3 step stuff, the scratch remover and some towels, im $60 poorer but excited as heck for a nice day, and a day off work to spend a good couple hours getting my baby shiny as it can be!!!! Hee Hee! Thanks for the info again Blue

Yeah apparently after I posted the price of only 6 or 7 bux, I told my girlfriend about that it she said my memory sucked because it was about twice that for each bottle. I fortunately don't have any scratches yet so didn't have to buy any of that stuff at least. You'll see that every penny you spent was worth it when you are rolling down the street in that gleaming car....now if it would just hurry up and warm up...it's times like this that I wish I lived in some nice warm US state. :)

kurt, dont forget to get the aluminum rim cleaner, but im not sure if you have enough muscle power to do a good job with it... :)
