I have a 2003 Mazda Protege, just did a timing belt that part is good. The next morning went to put gas in the engine started to fluxuate on the rpms, then it threw a code. The map sensor code came up when i checked it, a buddy of mine had one so we tried it and it did the same thing but it works fine on his then we noticed the hose out of the bottom of the map sensor goes to another hard plastic hose that has a rubber hose on the end that just goes down by the alternator. What I am wondering is does that hose hook to anything that may have came off during the work that we did.
