Help

not really sure where to put this but here goes.

hi, i have a mazda familia sp20 and just bought a new pod filter, just curious as to how i take out the old stock one thats in it now and put the new one in? there are 2 cables that come out of the current one what do they do?

One goes to the MAF. That's the cylindrical collar you keep on the car even after you remove the stock airbox.

The other is the air temp sensor... which you can pop off the airbox with no problem. You can leave it hanging in the bay for the meantime (but the hotter temps will make you lose power as the ECU adapts) but you should really find a way to plug it between your new filter and the throttle. First time we did it (before we got custom pipes), we just poked a hole in the rubber collar on the cone filter and stuck it in there. Worked.
