OK, I'll fess up...I'm 52. And I autox. And the MSP is the best thing that's come along in the 3 years I've been looking for a new car. It has the real stuff, it's hard core, and I can't wait to take it to an autox and show it off to the guys with the M3s and the Z06s and the Boxster S. And then go out and run fast times! Maybe even beat a few of them!

But when I'm on the street, I like to run stealth mode. No stoplight racing for me. I don't want the cops to even glance at me. Just a quiet, unassuming citizen out for a drive....until I turn up the wick on a mountain road and leave 'em all behind!

So, it's Black Mica for me. But the orange is really, really beautiful in the full sun. Too bad I live in Oregon, lots of rain, back to black!

Congrats on the decision, Newf. I'm patiently waiting for my dealer to get their hands on one, so I can have a good look at it.

I'm 22, and I don't have a problem with having a flashy car that stands out in a crowd. I autox, and keep my racing off the street, so I don't really have anything to fear from police, except perhaps a weak speeding ticket once every blue moon.

As for loosing sleep....tha'ts no joke. How many nights have I spent in bed just lying there thinking.....hmmmmm keep MP3???? get the orange??? get grey???? no get the orange.....nahhh keep the mp3.

Whole decision would have been a lot easier if I wasn't already driving the mp3. Love that car, and the color is awesome to take care of.

I saw the orange in real and the gold flake on the orange is looking very good, like a custom paint job.... and I know about it, I do custom painting!!!

Grey and silver is very common and I prefer the spoiler of the MSP and you got fogs!

That's why. For less then 2 grand CDN I can get into the MSP, and my payments aren't really going up. I'll get new tires and everything all new again

A turbo in Canada, your looking at 5000.00 before I even get someone to install it. And my car is a lease, AND there is nobody here town qualified to take care of it.

So, get the MSP with a factory Turbo......save money.....keep warranty....and hope MAzdaspeed releases a booster for it, and I'm done. And I won't have to buy new tires again. It's allll good.

Ahh, well that makes sense if you can get a MSP for an extra $2k.

Congrats again, we're expecting a full report to see how it compares to the MP3. I especially am interesting in seeing if the suspension differences are readily apparant.

Still undecided. Before I joined this forum, and saw the spicey orange MSP in the flesh, I was 100% decided on getting a gun-metal grey car.
I've been trying to get Avante to tell me when the orange ones are coming in, but I haven't got any responses. If anyone lives near there and goes by, can they tell me if there are any MSP's on the lot?
