Self-serve auto parts

There are many automotive dismantler yards around. The cheapest way to go!
Look under Auto Wreckers & Used Parts in your Yellow Pages or Google "salvage auto parts" with your make & model.
Note that the Mazda model names "Protege" and "323" often are mixed. Verify the years that are compatible with your specific car model (1995 was a significant change from 1994!)

A self-serve yard will allow you to look at the salvaged cars in their inventory and remove whatever parts you need for a price - according to their fee schedule.

Try www.pickandpull.com for yard locations in your area.
You can even check their up-to-date inventory online (by "Make"; then "Model" - try both 323 and Protege). The query will list the "Model - year - Row location - and Date arrived on yard" for each Model in the yard.

KGM323, thank you, your post is substantial, but look at date of previous post - BrysonWood doesn't want present on the forum, how we can judge by his posts quantity :(
