Hi all, I'm new on here and am hoping someone can help me with a code. I acquired a 2010 Mazda 3 with a fried 2.0 litre and automatic. I put a used engine in it and all is well except I have a code p0720-output shaft speed sensor circuit. The previous owner tells me there was no code before. I did some research, found out( or so I thought) which sensor it was. I checked the connector, followed the harness as far as I could and found no trouble. So, order a new sensor right? Phoned one of the local dealers here and asked for the sensor, and the parts guy asked me if I knew which sensor it was. Yes, I replied, the output shaft speed sensor. He said ok, your car has 2 of them, same part number. So the one on top of the transmission is easy to get at, but I am not sure about the other one, is it by an axle? Is there any way to determine which sensor it is? I did a search on here before posting and couldn't find anything. I don't know if this will help, but the check engine light is on constantly, and once I get up to 40-50 km, it does a couple quick shifts and the AT light comes on. Thanks in advance for the help!!!
