2016 CX5 touring
Hello, After reading all the posts I have decided that the dash speakers in my "16" touring with the Bose option will be replaced with Polk DB351's, What I would like to know is it worth it to also replace the 3.5 speakers in the rear pillars with 351's, or even though it is more work would replacing the rear door speakers be a better choice.
Currently I have the fader set to 85 or 90% rear because it just sounds to me very front heavy. I have hearing loss in the upper range and I am trying to get some of the "highs" back with a fuller rich sound, Thank you for your suggestions and you truthful answers on what speakers and locations will best meet my goal
Forgot to ask, if changing the L&R dash speakers is it worth buying two pair to also change the middle speaker?

I would rather try to pull up the schematics for Mazda 6 and try to find out where they have put the 2 tweeters and the associated wiring. I would first try to put those 2 DEFINITELY WORTH IT AND MISSING speakers first. You see, in CX-5 Mazda folks "forgot" about the tweeters, effectively sound is missing highs almost completely.

Then check and see if it's worth replacing 4 speakers.

I put all schematics up for each varient of the 2016 cx5's. Personally I've ran into the issue of my front doors / dash wired parallel from the factory ( I believe Bose is the same ) so its hindering my ability push my front doors. ) but the dash upgrade is amazing just gotta alter the wiring. But if you got amps I'd follow suit or your seriously gonna have to underpower the doors.

Check the front door speakers. Everywhere I read these have serious hi pass filters and mostly acts as bass.
