HELP! Syncing iPhone 4S to 2012 Mazda3...

My girlfriend bought a new 2012 3 Sky Active and we got the iPhone to connect, but can't figure out how to add her phone book. Please help. Thanks in advance.

It will not automatically sync the phone book. My 2013 has the same thing I have to import the numbers first my voice command. It is in the owners manual. Very simple once you add one or two numbers

Sorry to be a pain, but can you explain in greater detail? We can't find it in the manual... how do you import the numbers?

Ok I will try
First push the button the looks like the phone pick up
Then wait for prompt and say phone book
Then it will give you options say add entry then just follow directions from there.

^^^this...it's not hard to do but can be a PITA when you are sitting there and waiting for the damn voice prompts. No matter how hard I've tried, I can't get her to talk faster.
