i was driving home last night, everything was fine then made a turn the temp gauge flew past how and immediatley shut off. this happened at around 9 PM, it is now 930 AM and the gauge is still reading above hot. wont start. i have coolant, the thermostat i took out(thought it got stuck closed at first), disconnected the lower rad hose and the coolant is coming out the rad so the rad isnt clogged. i tried to reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for a little(2 hours!). Gauge still reads above hot. i was thinking coolant temp sensor(can cause a no start) or the ECU fried. Open to any and all suggestions. Thank you
