Help: Primary O2 Problem

I have a P2251 code. I've found online that it's an open in the negative side of the primary O2 sensor but I've checked my COBB AP and it reads the changes in A/F ratio accordingly with all throttle positions. The weird thing is that when I WOT, the car misfires quite a bit regardless of RPM range. I guess what I'm asking for is advice on what's going on and if I really have to replace my primary O2 to fix this problem. I'm hoping it's fixable without having to replace the O2 because it's pretty expensive.

Can someone tell me if the Accessport looks directly at the O2 sensor or at the PCM when I look at the live feed through the AP?

Sorry to bring back an old post but new info:

- I can get the primary O2 reading on my AP and it does fluctuate when cruising, accel, and decel
- on WOT, my engine starts missfiring and I get backfires as the revs go up
- on accel (not WOT), I hit boost and still accelerate as normal, only goes weird on WOT
- I have a P2251 code, something along the lines of open circuit in negative side of primary O2
- I don't have a code for missfire

Please help.
