HELP PLEASE!!! coil issue?!?

OK i was driving today (on my way to buy a truck)...go figure... and it was running fine. i then stop at a light...idles fine.

heres where it starts. i start going, and its sputtering all the way through the rpm range. stopped and had the check engine light that came on (flashing) checked. it says front catalyst low or some crap...and misfire cylinder #2. pull the spark plug...the electrode and such are broke completely off and the top where the plug wire are both broke off ???!?!?!?!?. so i put a new plug and it ran fine for a minute and started acting up again.

before i buy new coils and such i was just wanting to see what eveyone thought it could be.

any help at all is appreciated!!

same happen to me so i went and got brand new ones from the dealer bc thats the only place i trust and the plugs get cold ones .28

so that sounds like what yours did? im thinking either coil pack or a valve is stuck or someting.

try running seafoam through it, u can get it at autozone, if its a locked up valve, maybe the seafoam can break it loose...also pour a little into ur intake as its running, it will bog down obviously but that fixed my issue, which was bogging down to 2-300 rpm
