Help needed with suspension work..

You seemed anxious to help out too, Dale. I really can't say anything because I didn't go, but I was doing yard work and I kinda cleaned out half of our garage.

Thanks to Muff for helping and providing garage/tools for todays adventures. Glad to finally have my Illuminas on. Now just for some new endlinks.

Note to self don't do big undertakings on a Michigan car and think there wont be rusted on/stuck bolts somewhere. Cutting endlinks is almost a certainty.

Also glad to be a part of what was probably the quickest P5 spring change. Tire off to tire on in <1 hour. It helps when It is your 3rd swap of the day, and your endlink bolts do not need cutting.

Thanks again.

After working on my Wisconsin Civic, Muff probably would have refused to help had he known it was a Michigan car.
:p

lol srsly. The Michigan license plate was a pretty damn good giveaway though ;)
Yours was in pretty bad shape though. At least I was able to get all the bolts apart with an impact. Yours... not so much.

Yeah, that swap was refreshing. Felt more like a LeMans garage stop than a spring swap on a Protege lol. Non stop til it was done. Fun stuff. Thank you for your help on that as well :)

LOL. I guess the extra 4-5 years make a bit of difference.

yeah, I guess that's all it takes. After working on yours and the other 2, I don't think they could pay me enough to move up there. Either that, or I'd negotiate $1000 / year for a beater lol

Yeah, I was pretty jazzed about going to this but for some reason, I guess I just lost track of weeks (what with Scott not being at work [Holy s*** it was the best week of work since I began at Danley]) and thought it was next week. By the time I was up I was like "Noon... alright... what do I have to do toda.... s***!"

I promise the next wrench meet, I'll do my best to be there and on time. I feel like a douche.

Let me know of any future wrenching meets. I got a pretty good basic car knowledge and actually like working on them. Learning a few things as I go is always cool too.

Well, looks like I've got some immediate work on the Miata, and Przyborski and I have an NC Miata suspension to do next weekend, so maybe we need to put something together. I'd offer to host a meet, but I just don't have the tools for it, so that'd necessitate somebody hauling a crapload of stuff out here. Plus, I'm kind of in the middle of nowhere.
