Help me pick my exhaust system!

That's too bad, Miller. I was thinking of doing the same w/a hi-flow cat, but was warned by several people to stay away. I guess it's a good thing I did...

HEY!!!!! why has nobody mentioned the new LEGO exhaust. I'm swapping out my RB for one. I'm going with a solid color one though....I don't like mixed colors with LEGOS.

i got a megan

it sound's good nice deep sound but mine rattles all ova the place fitment is not great i not saying all systems are like that but mine just sux beacause of it, i have it installed with an obx header right now and it is loud to loud for me i'm hoping that when the turbo is installed the sound level goes down a bit

but it does not sound like a rice exhaust

yea i had piping made at a shop, so piping is just right for mine, sorry to hear about yours, but yea its nice and deap sounding no rice for me

I have installed my megan racing cat back and i have no issues...no rattles no nothing. sounds amazing and i am awaiting the purchase of a header and mid pipe to complete the system!

I have a HKS rear section and a JIC MAGIC mid pipeing high cat and and header that was custom made... And it sounds good...

Everyone can say their setup sounds good... but everyone's taste is different.. thats what makes "exhaust tone" opinions worthless. I've heard exhaust systems that sound horrible... and the owner thinks it sounds great. Best thing is to keep your ears open.. and if you hear somethin you like... stalk the owner till you can talk to him (drinks)

Agreed. I love the Magnaflow exhaust I have now. Though it's not for everyone. That's what kinda sucks about exhausts - there's no real way to know if it'll work good with YOUR setup. You might get lucky and have a buddy who has one, but otherwise it's hit or miss...

Just don't pick up an exhaust for its claimed performance increase.

lol just realized I'm giving advice in a thread I started asking for advice.

Well the midpipe with the high-flow cat sounds good! I like the sound of it a lot, especially now that the cat and the muffler are both broken in. I just hated the cat-les midpipe, made it very loud and ricey.
