Help: Installing Greddy Profec B

I know that a few of you have installed the profec B on their msp's but did anyone happen to take pics of their install? I know that there is a How-to for the spec 2, just wondering if anyone happened to do it for the B. Thanks.

Same exact install. The control module installs the exact same way!

the greddy unit is lit up even when the car is shut off. is it supposed to be like this? just wondering if it would drain from the battery or something.

It should not be on with the key in the off position! It should only be lit up when the ignition is turned to auxilliary power, or the car is running. What color is the wire u tapped into, and onto which harness did u tap into?

I tapped into the ignition harnass 12v (red). The same wire used for my TT.
the unit isn't ON. The POWER is just faintly glowing. I can still turn it on and off though when the car isn't running.

I guess what I am asking is, should I be able to turn the unit ON and OFF without the key in the ignition? Since the unit is still glowing will it drain my battery? Thanks GI-

No, you tapped into the wrong wire! The one u need on the ignition harness is the blue wire which is 12V accessory. This will only power the unit when you have the key in the ignition and partially turned or fully turned. If you leave it as is, you will drain your battery.

EDIT:

i set the balance all the way to sharp. LO Boost i have at 8.5lbs and HI Boost i have at 10-10.5lbs

if i floor it gradually the boost will smoothly go to my desired boost setting. when i punch it, my boost will actually go 2lbs below my desired boost then will slowly increase to the level i set it at. is this right or should i set my balance a little milder?
