the fact that it will break down or not is not really my point.
i am only saying that its a smart idea to keep the camera clean so when it is actually needed, it will be clear.
Right now, the way most cameras are setup (exposed), they become utterly useless in the winter, so they could also be considered broken from the factory.
For anyone that had sensors installed did you buy them online or from Mazda and have the dealer install or a stereo shop install and do they integrate with the back up camera? I've seen aftermarket ones and I do not want to have an ugly box on the dash but I do miss the sensors on my Ford.

I bought them and got them installed at a Mazda dealership; they couldn't find them here in Canada, but they managed to get them shipped directly from the States. The sensors will work with and without the backup camera, the only seen objects will be the four sensors installed on the rear bumper.
