Me and my family have allready completed our green mazda Europe project
in next few years we would like to do the same thing in USA & CANADA

because of our jobs we can spend about 1 month yearly for trips
that’s why our basic plan is to do big USA trip in 3 parts starting august next year

after all kilometers we have done there is not any fear of trip itself
but because of oversea location there is some additional things to prepare regarding
car renting, buying equipment (we are using tents), visas....

but there are also some good things making road trips in usa:
very very cheap gasoline (drinks)

if you see beeter place in forum for this thread feel free to move it

We are using tents because during our Europe trips we found out that minivan & tents is winning combination for such projects

Almost all European cities have nearby center facilities for campers and tents with good public transport connection

If you have smaller car there is possibility for car city tours (we prefer Sundays) which is impossible to do with RV-s

After all 10 or 15 minutes of setting up tent is quiet good
recreation after half thousand kilometers ride


It was quiet easy for us to do trips in Europe because we have used our own small minivan (mazda premacy).

Right now I am exploring “to rent” or “to buy” such car solutions in USA

Do you have any suggestions?

Well if your just looking to rent a minivan in the US you can just go to a rental dealership and rent one. I'm actually not sure of any specific one's that carry Mazda but I'm just many of the other members may be able to help a little more.

Also, where do you plan on traveling through the United States?

last year we have been there again crossing whole Albania on the way to greece

I'm grad you spend some time there and "GJIROKASTRA" has a lot of history & beauty to enjoy.
Thnx for the pic's as well, it has changed a bit from the last time I've was there. It's been a while I haven't gone back to visit my country.

ditch the russians and join albanians , lol

I heard RS is being hard on natural gas for almost all europe but I believe work has begun for 2 other pipe line from N-Africa and Middle East (or arabic nations) so hope is there for better days
