Hearing a strange noise from front when driving over 60 - anyone experience the same?

sometimes where the rear view mirror mounts onto the car something gets stuck in there... bugs? leaves? i had this for awhile. pop the mirrors around to see if anything is causing the noise. other then that its your wiper blades. a way to see if its them is to remove them and drive 80 mph and check. idontthink that the idea of putting tape would do anything. the body should/would not do that.

Hmmm. I have never noticed this one, however I would blend in with all the other noises my car makes. I just turn up the radio to compensate. Happy motoring! lol

wow, I have the exact same problem on my 2002 p5, you described it perfectly. Sounds like its coming straight infront of me near the hood/windshield wipers when I hit 70mph. I have notice that windy days will make it worst.

Luckily I don't have to drive on the freeway often, but I do plan on doing some road trips, so I'll be watching this post closely to see if anyone can fix it. I'll let you know if I come across anything also.

good lord, all this guessing in 2 pages and no one knows of the fix to this s***? it's been know for the past 5 years that its whistling because of the windshield moulding! I can't believe none of you long time members have never heard of that TSB!

order the part outlined in the TSB and go buy yourself a popsicle.... eat it, clean the stick and use that s*** to install the part to fix your car
