Haha. Thanks guys!
Slip...nice to meet you too! Thanks for the goodies. MP3 springs added to my "to install" list.
EGTT...thanks for plugging those in my thread!
JDM...haha thanks I love when people stop and point and I see their faces omfgwtfbbq lol it's so satisfying!
Wheelman...thanks! I had just cleaned it up the night before...here's my secret...ok ready?
Orange peelz bike degreaser
I was searching my garage and came across this...figured if it's good enough for gears on a bike it should get rid of all the junk under there. Diluted with water and scrubbed with a cloth. Then I used a hairspray bottle with regular water and went over it with a dry microfiber to make sure nothing was going to be just sitting residue. Cleaned up really well...but to me it's still dirty! Haha

Oh and it was originally a pennsylvania car...so I cheated hehe

Side note...going to hit 60k tomorrow D;

Also more to come because the very talented Storm took shots with a much much better camera than mine :D

And lastly...it wouldn't be OCC without a little friendly sneaking up on your boyfriend...

BTW the studio shots above are now the HQ versions from my PC :)

OMG CAMERON I AM SO MAD AT YOU RIGHT NOW! >.< It's been years since I lost the game uhg.... lol

I'm loving the love everyone. I'm so happy with the direction my car is going in!

However there are a few issues that I need to attend to:
-When I have a heavy load or full car I am still rubbing... (I'm thinking a slight camber paired with stiffer struts?)
-I stalled out the other day when I put the car in park at work...the RPMS just stuttered and dumped then it shut off (I'm thinking its the EGR and / or carbon build up on the throttle body)
-Because of the recent events I am also going to take some precautionary measures (Replacing the wires, spark plugs, and possibly the pvc)

So on that note:
-Suggestions on wires you are running? I'm looking at nology, magnecor, and ngk
-Suggestions on spark plugs?
-Has anyone had this happen to them?
-I have a friend who will replace the EGR for me so I'm not too worried about it
-Also the car still starts up fine... It just stalled out once but has stuttered on multiple occasions either at lights or in highway traffic but always picked itself back up.
-Any other stupid maintenance that I might have forgotten about at 60,000 miles?

it happened to me my throttle body gasket went bad and was leaking a lil so when i would slow to a stop or put it in park it would stall. had about the same mileage too.

the car comes with ngk iridiums from factory they 100k plugs. but i did mine at 60k anyway with the same ngks doesnt hurt just a lil pricey.

Be[the]sda
[game]s <-- they have been doing it for some time now. Every time you play Skyrim you lose

As far as the problems go...clean your MAF sensor, I got the platinum NGK spark plugs which work great.

If you are looking to adjust camber a bit without dropping a butt-ton of money, look into camber bolts, I am. They are cammed bolts that replace the bolt that holds the bottom of your strut to your shoe/axel...whatever, I'm not damn mechanic, sue me.

Anywho...these bolts are $25 fro the two and can give you up to +1.75 degrees of camber or -1.75 of camber.

Here is a pretty good video that demonstrates how it works

I heard that in order to run camber bolts you had to bur(grind/shave) out the strut mount bolts, so there will be room for adjustment for an alignment.

Maybe I'm wrong.

-You need stiffer springs, struts are not "stiffer" technically, they just compress less because of the valving
-Clean the EGR or replace it with the updated model
-As for replacing all the listed items, take the PVC off and shake it. If it makes a rattling noise its good and should not need replacing. If it doesn't buy a new one (DUH!) For wires just get the standard NGK or OEM stuff, dont waste your time with anyting else. And for plugs run OEM or NGK ZFR6F11, dont get any of that special stuff.

And the whole purpose of camber bolts is so that you do not need to slot your struts, just go to a good alignment shop and they can fix your problem.

Mazda came out with a revised EGR valve in Canada, I am not sure if it was available in the US though. They basically just ran coolant lines to it and something else. I dont remember now I sold my car a while ago

There was a handful of the revised Canadian EGR valves on eBay about a year ago for around $50 new... I managed to snag one :)

Un bet we won't find any now lol if y'all happen to do So Lmk I need one !

Lol I'm not REALLY mad at you! SO!
-I will look into cleaning the MAF thanks for the heads up on that one.
-I will definitively look into the camber bolts because not spending a butt-ton of money is right up my alley.

- Are the mp3 springs stiffer than mine? Because that's what I was planning on putting into the car.
- Looking into replacing the EGR with the Canadian one (now I just have to source it).
- Thanks for the heads up on the PVC too.

i sell the revised ones at work. standard makes them
And where might that be sir? Also found that they are sold here http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carcode,1416800,parttype,4968
