When it came to gas I would only use BP, with everything that has happen with BP in the Gulf. I longer use BP, I am only going to use gas from a American owned company.

I use BP almost exclusively and will continue to do so unless their prices go way up.

There isnt any BP gas stations close to where I stay in Houston, but I travel the states for work year round....and I have noticed myself avoiding there stations with whats been happening here in the Gulf. We'll be working on BP's flagship "Thunderhorse" offshore oil rig next week inspecting one of their piplines that run in the Gulf......im curious to hear what their employees have to say on everything.

nope. BP stations are rare up here. there is only 1 that i know of. they are usually higher priced than other nearby stations so it was never worth stopping there before and it still isn't.

Not buying from a BP labeled gas station wont do anything....many stations get their gas from BP from major named stations to the little guys...

Yes, most of the BP stations are privately owned so your hurting small business more then big business. I always try to use BP gas when possible because im told from various tuners it reduces knock and runs the best.

So anyone that is avoiding BP will you discontinue use of Castol oil (if you use it) or boo the Speedsource team as they are sponsored by Castrol?

the only real way to hurt BP is to hurt their wallet directly. not buying their gas isnt going to do s***....what you can do is sell their stock if you own it, all of it. If anyone holding their stock starts to dump it then it will be worth less and less.

the only thing that would suck about that Taylor is then how are they going to repay the cost of cleanup and the businesses that have filed suits against them? Just a really crummy situation all around. : /

yep, unfortunately its lose lose....and there is no priority for them to pay back claims, they dont care about people or the gulf, they care about their PR campaign to save their name. Instead of paying claims they spent 50mil + on a PR campaign with commercials that they arent even going to broadcast in the gulf region, plus having their site come up first with any internet searches for the "gulf oil spill" but sadly if it was any oil company it would have been the same thing, they're all money hongry companies.

there is one right near my house. their pumps are slow, and their prices are high.

it is very easy not to buy gas there

So very true....I do have to say that their CEO is good for a daily laugh. I wonder what he has said recently in an interview to show himself as an a$$.

I no longer buy seafood. I used to love seafood, but the majority comes from the gulf, and I don't want to risk it. Might belike a year untill I buy seafood. I know it takes longer than that to clean up, they might never fully return the gulf to it's prior state. I hope south padre dosent have any oil on the beach because we take pretty frequent trips down there.

Not to many bp stations down in San Antonio.
