Has anyone replaced their urethane aftermarket motor mounts?

I have had Medieval motor mounts on my car for around 40K miles now. I noticed that my engine was starting to not sit level and my passenger mount had destroyed itself... I ordered a full set of AWR mounts to replace them. I had never been totally happy with the medieval mounts, more vibration than I wanted (even though they advertised no increase... b.s.), and they didn't fit worth a damn. The rear mount install took me 8 hours simply because the mount was not the right size at all.

Anywho, I'm replacing them now, and the rear mount i took out is fubar'ed. I mean its as bad as the stock rubber mounts I took out of the car. I didn't expect this to happen with a 'solid' urethane bushing... Has anyone else replaced their aftermarket mounts and had a similar experience?

Regardless, if Medieval is still around and making motor mounts, I wouldn't recommend them.

I have had the same luck with the Medievals. They're garbage. I've had AWR's for almost a year now and I'll never go back.

I used these there the energy suspension inserts. I just bored out the old ones and pressed these in. I got them in the front and back still need to do the sides.

there super smooth very little vibration

Never really considered buying replacement bushings...

I'm only guessing here, but I feel like part of the reason they got so torn up is because the geometry of these mounts was incorrect... possibly making them 'bind' on themselves and leading to premature failure. The only reason I'm making that guess is because of how difficult it was to get the mounts in place. I'm hoping that the AWR's are better made, with better bushings, and built more accurately.

I got my mounts recently and they fit fine, they may have changed up their design. I have an AWR for the passenger side and I can say that it is thicker metal and higher quality but the Medievals are holding up fine for me. Considering the AWR was $170 and I paid $150 for all three of the other mounts AND a lightweight PS pulley, I think they are worth the price. You get what you pay for applies here.

I have the medieval rear mm, I hate the vibrations. I think I'm gonna take it out and put the stocker back in if I can find it.

AWR has better quality as SU (have their rear) but these guys use solid materials compared to medieval.
