H7 Hyper White Bulbs

I had this bulbs and they lasted for almost 2 months. The ******* thing burnt the Bulb housing (holds the bulb) and the white harness. I went to Mazda today and asked them for the parts.
Housing - 7.50 CDN
Harness - 500.0 CDN :bs: they cant give you the white harness itslef where it connects to the housing. You need to buy the whole set.

The white harness is pretty ****** up and burnt bad. Can anyone give me a good advice on how to fix this? I dont wanna spend 500 just for a freaking harness.

All inputs would be greatly Appreciated.

Just get a generic replacement headlight connector at an auto parts store and splice it in to the existing wiring. Just cut off the wires past the point in which they are burned.

Do you guys think these bulbs are worth getting? They are not the blue bulbs that you would find at pepboys. I'am just wondering will they work fine on our cars like wattage wise I don't want them to melt my headlight housing. And how much can are cars handle wattage wise for the headlight bulbs and the other bulbs.

i would never recommend using a bulb that draws more wattage than factory unless you upgrade the wiring. thats why i started selling PIAA. piaa bulbs draw almost exactly what the factory ones do but give a brighter, whiter light. I used to sell some others but the liability is to much of a risk for a retailer. just my

Hey, I read somewhere in this forum that you should keep the wattage at around 50. Those HKS bulbs are at 120, so you better stay away from them.

I had bulbs of 100W for a few monthes, luckily everything is still ok when I removed the bulbs yesterday.

99% of the time piaa bulbs are brighter than factory. in a training thing i had to go to to be a piaa distributor we got the opportunity to see pics of lots of new cars with a piaa xtreme white in one side and the factory in the other. in most cases there was a huge difference. in some cases it was a slight difference. i saw it with my own eyes so believe whatever you want. however since you saw it in print it must be true (sarcastic)

The only reason I thought they would be safe is b/c it says 55
watt at the beginning I don't get it though?


It says 55 watt---------------> 120 watt

it sounds like what piaa calls "xtra technology", it means that it only draws 55 watts but the light output is equal to 120 watts

they are not supposed to being that they are only supposed to draw 55 watts. i would do a little more research on them before i bought them. who knows they may be perfect

wtf.. better lighting is just as important as anything else you do to enhance the performance of your car.... you cant do s*** if you cant see.
and about the wiper blades, the piaa ones really are better than stock and i would recomend them to anyone you lives in a rainy climate.

what's wrong with getting hks bulbs I rather get these then some piece of s*** blue ones that pep boys or autozones sales. I already have the hks axle-back exhaust so another hks product would'nt be bad. Plus I don't have $1400 to blow on the autoexe hid kit that corksport sales so I was looking to upgrade my headlight bulbs a little. Wow! sorry And for your info I don't ******* put stickers on car. And don't hate on hks they are an awsome company.
