H7 Hyper White Bulbs

Don't you believe the stock p5 headlights are more then enough light output? They are a hell of a lot brighter then the sedan's.

that may be, but there is always room for improvement. i am going to go hid as soon as i get some other stuff finished up

apparently, you forgot about something called "physics"... pics don't tell you jack s***... a photometric meter AND following SAE or ECE testing procedures DOES... all the marketing gurus need to do is adjust their camera exposure settings OR just photoshop the pictures... nothing will prove ANYTHING but a photometric meter, don't trust your eyes either... ever heard of a thing called "optical illusion"? you can't argue with physics

99% of the time piaa bulbs are brighter than factory. in a training thing i had to go to to be a piaa distributor we got the opportunity to see pics of lots of new cars with a piaa xtreme white in one side and the factory in the other. in most cases there was a huge difference. in some cases it was a slight difference. i saw it with my own eyes so believe whatever you want. however since you saw it in print it must be true (sarcastic)

seems like you just accepted whatever bulls*** they shoved down your throat... "xtra technology" is just a load of bulls***... again, ever heard of physics? you CAN'T create more energy by NOT putting in more energy... you can NEVER make a 55 watt bulb "as bright as" a 120 watt bulb... again you can't argue or defeat physics, no matter how smart those PIAA marketing geeks are

it sounds like what piaa calls "xtra technology", it means that it only draws 55 watts but the light output is equal to 120 watts

if you do care about better bad weather visibility, I suggest you stay away from those rip off blue coated bulb bulls***... if you understand physics and light spectrum concept and how it affect human eyes, you will know that blue is the worse for dark/bad weather visibility.. blue light scatters causing every reflective thing (rain drops/snow) to shine right back at your face... and it also causes your pupils to constrict because of human's natural reaction to blue light because the light appears brighter/more dazzling... ACTUAL white OR yellow light is BEST for bad weather conditions... what defines "white" light? go find the SAE J578 testing methods and read it

wtf.. better lighting is just as important as anything else you do to enhance the performance of your car.... you cant do s*** if you cant see.
and about the wiper blades, the piaa ones really are better than stock and i would recomend them to anyone you lives in a rainy climate.

feel free to be part of the hip bandwagon because that was pretty dumb of you not to have read my post where I had 4 links to CREDITABLE tests in semi-scientific to scientific methods... your loss

Thanks KYMP5, it's ******* people like that ruin it for others with their sarcastic remarks is that! just be like I don't like them or don't say s***. There is no need to flip out.

the best halogen bulbs that actually produce more light are the Osram Silverstar or Silvania Vision Plus bulbs sold over in Europe. These actually put out more light on the ground than putting out 'whiter' lights.

go to www.powerbulbs.com to get them!

xtra technology is not creating more energry. it just gives the appearence too. i have to diagree with you on the "bulls*** theyre feeding down my throat" or whatever you said. Every single car in the parking lot behind my office has Piaa xtreme whites in them. I installed most of them and could tell a difference by leaving one of the factory bulbs in. Im sorry that i was only able to see that they were brighter on about 12 cars. i forgot your the expert.
the piaa xtreme white bulbs do put out an white light with no hint of blue in it. they have bulbs that make blue looking light but thats not what i am talking about her. they arent any brighter. If you want something that is brighter than oe i am saying that i suggest piaa. thats my ******* opinion so you (the man) can deal with it as i have also heard you opinion on the matter.

believe what you want to believe... be happy with your blue pill and ignore scientific data

sure is nice to have the luxury to pay for a pair of $80 bulbs for performance that can't even match bulbs that cost less than half that!

Osram baby, Osram :)

i didnt pay anything for mine. if i would have had to i probably would have just saved the money and gone hid

wiring harness costs alot, because dealer wants to replace all of them.
anyway, same s*** happened to me long time ago, so I went to local auto shop and bought H4 heavy duty headlight socket to replace burned up H7 white headlight socket.
it was about $4 for each socket.
save your money and get HID kit, it's worth it.

I seriously don't understand why you'd disagree with the Man. I know he can come off as being a dick on occasion, but disagreeing with scientific data solely because it comes from him is pretty dumb. Obviously your eyes are better than photometric equipment.

I think I'm gonna run a sample of 5% alcohol beer through a gas chromatograph and disagree with the amount of alcohol it detects because it tastes more like 7%.

on occasion? how about every time he posts? sure he's right, but everything he says is condescending and rude. i don't think i've read a single post from him that wasn't. like i said, he knows his s***, but he's got to take it easy on the comments.

you got 0wn3d by those bulbs!

which brand were they? so other people can avoid the mess you got into ...

the other guy was bashing him...

as for HIDs in the rain, they suck!!! Definatately wouldn't recomend them if you have lots of rain, but in the dry weather, they are super bright.

Brighter - doesn't always mean better...

I wasn't bashing the Man. He is a very helpful member of this forum. I don't find him to be rude, just cool as ****.
