H.i.n!!!! 5/9/09

it will be fun if some of those guys actually get their cars on the track... i'm not sure how that will work out ... i'm not sure I can make it now either because of mother's day!

You want rice? Come to one of the local auto shows we attend. Check out the Photo Gallery thread to see tons of rice over the years.

If anyone is going to be taking I95 up and is interested, I live right off of exit 47A @ the Avalon, I have a few people meeting up here to ride up together.

yayyyyyyyyyyyyy my cars up there right now im near team ecr....we have 9 cars and 2 bikes im near the porta pody...lol its me ms6,white integra, pattys cobalt ss, orange srt4 blue rsx type s a black srt4 with stripes a lincon ls droped with rims and and a system a honda accord, 300z blue with ferrari back end ,gsxr 600 and a gsxr 1000 LOOK FOR MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE AND SAY HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

Man, living 5 minutes from the track really allows me to see all the rice riding around town right now. Last night a two toned kitted Scion pulled up next to me at a stoplight. He was checking out my car... and I was thinking, yeah mine still looks good and classy, while yours looks like a piece of s***! The kit was way off, and the flared aspect to it made the car look like a whack-ass widebody.

Curious to see how this turned out. I went out to dinner with the in-laws and my wife around 6. At that point, it was sunny. Shortly after we were in the restaurant though, the wind kicked up something fierce, it turned dark, and it started to pour. I'm assuming the show got cut off early?

In my honest opinion, be glad you didnt go. My first mistake was getting there early to avoid the long lines. Yes I was one of the first on line for a ticket, but they didnt open the gates until 4pm exactly(with the weather situation you'd think they would adjust accordingly). The first round of racing had already taken place by this time, so we had to wait a good hour, to an hour and a half to see the next round. the car show was decent, good turn out from the local clubs. there were 3 drift cars, local Amateurs, and for the 4 or so hours I was there no drifting took place. I would have to say the most exciting thing was the dirt bike jumping. for $30 I was expecting more, and was let down, NOPI was SOOOO much better, for that matter, Import Wars is better. What topped it all off was with the price you pay they didnt even allow re-entry! I left @ around 8pm, and on the way south on 95, the sky began to get pretty crazy, so I think I left at a good time, and I'm sure they didnt comp anyone for the weather. I sound like such a hater, but I have been to enough of these events to know what thirty bucks should get you, and this was a poor example. :wtf:

i feel ur pain Zitro. this was a complete let down. the only good thing was the vette that ran a 8.3. also one of the cars my mechanic tuned was there, and that driver couldn't drive it for anything. it was a silver RSX type s w/ 375whp. the guys best run was a 14.9. maybe next year they can do better since this was their first time at NH.

i was there...stupid me forgot to check this site before i went...i saw you lynnriderm6!! we were in a hurry to check out all the cars before it down poured so i didnt get a chance to stop in and say hi. o well, you guys goin to import battle on the 23rd?

To be honest guys, I don't think NE Dragway's import scene is good at all. I've been to MANY MANY of their Import Wars shows, NOPI, etc... and its always the same. Granted, NOPI was a much larger scale and more things to do, but I just have never really been pleased with their showings. I was curious about it, but I'm glad I didn't waste the $30, especially knowing that the weather shortened it by half the time it was supposed to be open.

I agree. I am considering making the trip to NJ for the Pan-Americans though. that is always huge, and its all racing.

ya i mean there was more cars like the people who parked in the grass ME AKA the normal people that go to like import wars and all that junk where parked in there all the sponserd cars where parked by the main stage idk i was disappointed there was a HUGE LINE to get in they shouldof started the show at 12 and ended at 8 wouldof made more sense i mean idk i sat through the rain it DOWNNNN POORD lol there was drifting people from like maine but they only did it for about 30-40 mins because at 8-810 it startd to rain and stopd around 9 so import wars is the 23rd i will be there hopfully my eyelids wont break next time 2 days before the show but nice seeing you joel but you should enter your car at import wars with me :) ya redbliss i was prob not around when you where there i had my hood shut when i wasnt around dont want any ramdom people pullin wires out ;)
