Guage rings?

Just be careful puttin the clear piece back on. RaiderMP5 accidently cracked his.

hey now, I did it on purpose! lol. Seriously, the cluster cover is only 16 bucks, but I messed it up when I put it back on, and one of the tabs was not lined up, and it cracked like it was designed to do so. Par for the course for me lately, though. When I do a mod, I brake something else in the process.
oh well, still got the cracked cover. Cannot see it too much, and I have gotten lazy about wanting to replace it.

has anyone had a problem with their street rings not staying flush? and where can i get more of those glue dots?

Mine fit like a glove, but I am sure Cullen can send out some more.I had to make sure the dots were ont he side of the gauge side, and did not roll up or anything for mine to fit right, but that took 30 seconds.

(stupid) Thats why i took the black surround off. Better accessability to making them perfect. Id Pm Cullen.

Follow the instructions and there shouldn't be any problems. I can send more out if you need some more GD's. (first)

installation tips...

i. do as the instructions tell you - i got so excited on the 1st ring i forgot to place the "bottom" of the ring in 1st and ended having it not sit all the way down... i played with it for a while and got it pretty close.. but still.. it bothers me knowing it isn't (will fix another time)

ii. wear short sleeves - i came very close to breaking a needle (boom07) cuz the cuff of my sweater caught one while manipulating the cluster around (lucky)

iii. do not touch the inside of plastic shield - i made sure i didn't... but you can imagine the eye sore of finger prints distorting the beautiful shine of your brand new streetrings while checking em' out for the 1st time. (sure you can windex the inside.. but leaves the possibility of left behind particles or even smears)

iv. after install and driving with new guage rings for the 1st time... just glimpse at them.. not stare... i almost ran a red while in aww... lol

good luck - it's super EZ

100% true for all of that. Except since it is still in the 90's, no long sleeves for me!

I followed the instructions to the letter, but my speedo ring separated from the top of the speedo, while the other two fit and stuck. I ended up using a drop or two of superglue at the top of the spedo ring and now it's fine. :)

Thanks for the tips, my fellow Canuck! Hopefully my rings will go on this weekend!

[threadjack] Used to live in Winterpeg too, for about 10 years... how were the skitters this summer? I remember them being the size of small birds - and as numerous as grains of sand on a beach. (boom07) [/threadjack]

My company office is up there in WPG. They always ask the temperature during the winter. No matter if it is 17 here, it is a lot colder up there.

For some reason, the 2 day Express shipping to Canada is taking more than 2 days. Must be getting held up in customs. I would hate to see how long ground would take.

No worries on my end - the box showed up in great condition, and they were packed very well. (first)

np np :)

small birds...lol... so true... they weren't to bad this summer.. they sprayed hardcore.. scared of westnile.

but i swear some previous summers.. they should of had warnings on the weather channel like: sunny with cloudy periods-15% chance of rain in the late afternoon and 95% chance of mosquito bites all day (reducing visibility to 10%) lol

back to topic.. delivery to canada.. based on the usps reports... my rings reached customs on the 9th and cleared on the 12th... so yeah.. thats where the hold up is... but still made it here on good time.

*thinking what he should order next from s-s-s-s-**********!!!*
