my rings still popout even after putting double side tape ALL AROUND the inside of the middle ring, but in this picture it is only 1.5mm out and i think it stoped moving (i forced some more tape in lol) you can't really notice it so i am happy with it now

i just got mine and according to what Dave tells me, it's a newer design that should snap into place tighter and hopefully not need any kind of adhesive to keep it in place.. i'm wondering if i just didn't snap it down tight enough when i initially installed it.
mountjonas said:the same thing kept on happening to me. i told dave and he sent me the new ring and threw in butyl tape. i think the tape made all the difference. even with double tape, the speedometer ring would start to fall of after a couple of days. now, they've been on for a couple of months now and haven't moved at all. the butyl tape really works.
