I bought some guages off a fellow member on here and also one through Ken at PG. They are the Prosport 52mm Air/Fuel, Boost, Oil Temp. The boost is manual, and the other 2 are electric. The Oil Temp is the peak version. I took all the guages to a shop to be installed in my CP-E dash pod. They said they couldn't figure out how to install the air/fuel guage and the oil temp guage. My qusetion is : Does any body know which wire(s) do you tap into for the Air/Fuel guage to work. He hooked it up to the gray/red wire (which turned out to be 4 volts) and now my guage reads nothing but rich constantly (it never moves). Also, do I need to get an adapter plate for the sending unit on the Oil temp guage, or can I just drill and tap a hole. My mechanic guy could not figure out how to install these. He charged me $450 and they don't even ****** work!!!! Please help

450 to install same gauges that they didnt install?? lol you sir got ******.

What kind of shop was this exactly? was it a local mechanic or a performance shop?

I know I got ******...But they said once I figure out how to install from you guys, they will fix it... The shop is a mix of performance and general mechanics. They have a wiring and performance guy who rigs all of the police cars with there performance gear and electronics and such...I just desperately need some help with this....And I know a ton of you guys are running Prosport guages on their MS3's, so I'm hoping for a helping hand here...I can't afford to go somewhere else to finish the job

Hell...I couldn't even afford the 450 they charged...I just assumed it would be $200 MAX for the time consuming wire running

this has to be a joke. so you paid 450 for them to install them. now they want you to find the installation procedure and then they will "reinstall". so you pretty much doing their job. surrsly.....wtf.

Unfortunately it is not a joke!!! But I think I bought the wrong guages. Apparently we have a wideband O2 sensor and I bought a non-wideband guage...That is the first issue...Secondly, I bought a Prosport Oil Temp guage (PEAK version) and they are not sure if it is supposed to be drilled and tapped into the oil pan...The instructions mention an oil filter adapter to allow this to work but it is for the spin-on oil filters, which I was under the impression we did not have...So those are my issues.... Any help would be greatly appreciated

You need to get the spin-on oil filter conversion kit for the oil temp gauge to work. And for the Air/Fuel ratio (non-wideband) you need to tap into a wire on one of the O2 sensors, but Im not sure exactly which one, there is some stuff about it in these forums. Hope this helps some. Next time do a little research first...

(im not 100% sure if the PG comes with the sammitch plate because im doing this from my phone and cant see pics)

I bought the AFR guage and the boost guage as a set from another forum member. Both were never used and I never thought to check if it was a wideband or not.. Turns out my ass got burned!!! But the Oil Temp info was really helpful...However, I won't be using it as my EGT guage is now in stock (I only bought the oil temp as a filler for my pod)..So, it will be boost, air/fuel, and EGT...Hopefully nobody ***** that up for me
