GT wheels on Sport?

Simple question but I don't know anything about replacing wheels/tires.

I plan on purchasing the '16 Sport, but I do like the '15 GT's wheels. Would this be a possible and easy switch? Also, would I have to have the dealer do it or would it be possible to buy these later and have someone else do it?

17 and 19 inch wheels are totally interchangeable on the CX-5 and anyone with a lug wrench can do it.

That being said, the gt wheels will cost more (and probably weigh more) than an aftermarket set of equal or lesser size.

I second this. When it comes to wheels, aftermarket will give you more bang for your buck.

Uhh, no. That's why one is called a 17" and the other a 19". The later is 2" bigger in diameter and won't seat on a 17" rim.
