Ground Loop Issues

cool, just saw you signed up.... hopefully you will have your audio equip back by then but if its goin to cali i doubt it....

So i got the clarion amp back. I wrote them a long letter explaning all the issues i had. The amp came back with a note stating that they cleaned the RCA inputs and fixed the connection and that is it. I am not sure what to do. I am honestly quite hesitant/afraid to put that amp in, although the one i have in the car now is not too great. What should i do? Should i risk it and just put the clarion back in? Or should i stick with what's working ok right now and sell the clarion?
thanky, viktor....

If it ain't broke...

...on the other hand, if you're going to sell the amp you should at least make sure it works.

yeah my thoughts exactly, but i am afraid to blow the speakers.... Also if i ever get a sub i will need a 4 channel amp : (

i would think you would at least try it...? if the rca connection to the board was what the problem was initially... (sparodic signal like firsty said) then that makes sense...

It should work fine now as that would explain the problems it was having. Note you may have cuased them by never fastening the amp down so unless you are going to actualy mount it, don't put it back in.
