Yes, quite normal for the Type S. If you are cruising, you're probably at 10 in Hg, so when you let off the gas and go to 20 there is enough of a change to open the BOV. This shows it is operating properly, since it open when it see a difference between the pressure in the pipe and the pressure in the manifold (there is just a little diaphram in there). So, you need to set it so that it does this, otherwise, you'll have surge and the car won't operate as smooth as it does when setup properly.jersey_emt said:Yeah the whistle at the end is normal...but the whistle I was talking about was when you let off the gas when cruising (not even close to being in boost) the valve whistles forever (or until you maintain light pressure on the throttle, or shift to neutral)
