The emanage is the red headed step child IMO. I tune just about every piggyback out there and the Dtec is one of my favs. Very easy interface, 4 storage maps and will work on just about every car out there. Lots of options to boot.

Aaron@Realtune said:Im sorry I have no idea if it will pass NY laws.
If the emanage will work, the dtec would work. I am new to the mazda scene but all the inputs the emanage needs/uses , the dtec uses.
Perro del Sol said:Aaron, I will have to check that out, since I will looking into a EMS system for my Speed Protege.
p5T said:The Dtec didn't mention anything about timing control?
Also if I read correctly it only alters the main load signal (in our case the MAF) so it can't alter the injector signal?
How much larger injectors does it support?
MazdaT said:It looks to me like the Dtec is just a Super AFC with the game boy gimmick?? Don't waste your money on that with a protege.
You need the standard emanage, boost sensor, injector/ignition harness, and the FM clamp. I have that with 440cc second gen RX7 denso injectors. 15.5psi of boost on pump gas.
Aaron@Realtune said:Its a much nicer piggyback than a SAFC. However it cant controll timing.
Does the emanage allow for tuning the timing tables with the Mazda cars?

funktownp5 said:The e-manage can alter the timing using a MAF/MAP vs RPM table. But it
cannot control total timing.
