who is running this on there car? i am thinking about getting one to run in boostd mp5, and i wanted to know has it been running alright.

I have an Emanage Blue on my miata and I like it. I have a slight bouncy idle, but that's because i'm running a VTA BOV. It's not the most capable engine management solution, but for light boost it's more than adequate.

I'm using it on my 1.6L protege boosting at 8 psi. You will need the additional MAP sensor and harness. Bigger injectors and a good fuel pressure regulator would help as well.

I run it, Stock injectors will be fine for 8psi (@least on my little .60/.48 T3 they are)
You'll need an O2 clamp for sure
And a map sensor and a WBO2 for tuning.

Will it work with the msp? Also can it pass the NY state safety inspection?

Im sorry I have no idea if it will pass NY laws.

If the emanage will work, the dtec would work. I am new to the mazda scene but all the inputs the emanage needs/uses , the dtec uses.

Aaron, I will have to check that out, since I will looking into a EMS system for my Speed Protege.

The Dtec didn't mention anything about timing control?

Also if I read correctly it only alters the main load signal (in our case the MAF) so it can't alter the injector signal?

How much larger injectors does it support?

AHH, thats right. New to Mazdas own me.(shocked)

Im thinking of more of a piggyback fuel computer as I forgot the emanage has timing controll abilities [as it doesnt work with the SRT cars]. We are so busy with those I havent tuned much else in the past year. (poke)

I have ran 880cc low impedance [with resistor box] with a dtec without issue.

It looks to me like the Dtec is just a Super AFC with the game boy gimmick?? Don't waste your money on that with a protege.

You need the standard emanage, boost sensor, injector/ignition harness, and the FM clamp. I have that with 440cc second gen RX7 denso injectors. 15.5psi of boost on pump gas.

Its a much nicer piggyback than a SAFC. However it cant controll timing.

Does the emanage allow for tuning the timing tables with the Mazda cars?

The e-manage can alter the timing using a MAF/MAP vs RPM table. But it

cannot control total timing.

Do you have a number where I can contact you.

My 2 cents on the emanage:
I'm highly computer literate, and it was very confusing at first. But have had it for about 2 yrs now, and have grown to love it. I'm running 440wrx's, FM VC, and about 18psi. Car pulls like F-ing crazy.
