you can get the alternator out through the top as long as you remove all the little things to the left including the cruise and such.it's a lot easier than anythnig else as all those little things just just a bolt away from release anyways...
That's what I'm talkin about, cc=2 nuts, vacuum switch= 1, strut bar=4, vacuum canister=2....all easy, all standing up & less than 5 minutes.

Is Brach outta town or something? Or just busy with 3 & 6 stuff? Been awhile since any updates on any Protege stuff that I can find. No responses to PMs either. Still waiting on the supposedly shipped heel plate.

Sorry guys, as most of you know I have been out of town and will be back tomorrow. I have been trying my best to keep PM's up. The good news is that the crank pulley will be ready to go next week. Yeeeaaaaa
My job has been keeping me to busy and not much time to build new parts. It should slow down now. So I'll be able to spend more time on here keeping you in the loop as well as finishing and making new things.
For me, the crank pulleys have to be shipped off before I release the caps. It's to much confusion with all the orders, PM's and shipping stuff in a short time. So when all the crank pulleys go, I'll then share the good news on the caps. :)
By the end of the month I will have 3 and 4pc pulley kits in stock. At that time, all Canadian orders will be pushed to Crazycaker and I hope to have another person helping with keeping everyone updated and new parts coming out.
I will be working on the Mazda 6,3 and Speed 3/6 pulleys before I start any NEW protege stuff. I have a few Protege things that have been designed, but just need to be made. So, again and very soon your paypal account will be full of orders :) I will also be posting under Medieval alot more.

Currently have Protege Power steering and ALT pulleys in stock. The water pump and crank pulley will be ready att he end of the week. So 3 and 4 pc pulley kit's can be purchased. Dealers are coming aboard, so pulleys will be available and instock through one of them. The dealer names will be released in the coming week.

oh thats chearing on the alt pulley!

Edit: I still need to get that stupid PS pulley installed.
Well, my alt just happened to have died before I actually got around to doing these. It had been suckin ass around 11.7-12.4 volts for awhile so just didn't hurry to do the pulley & sure enuff it gave up one morning trying to leave for work. At least it was at home in the garage when it happened.lol. Getting the thing off the car was harder than dealing with the pulley. The pwr steering one I did on the car without disturbing the juice by taking it completely off the bracket, removing res from it's mounting & loosening the connection of the lines to the strut tower. This allowed me to wrestle the pump around to face up towards me enuff to get 2 jaw puller on it using an allen bolt in the pump shaft to keep the puller centered. Then just put pump back on the bracket & used 3 different length bolts with a thick washer & a 12mm socket/wratchet with anti seize on the pump shaft to pull it back on. No issues whatsoever.

not going to read 57 frigg'n pages

"i want my crank pully" (flash) that was a song from the 80's right? any news on the cranks please?

I got a PM a couple of days ago saying that his anodizer was causing him problems. He never confirmed, but I think he said they'd be out this week. if not, REALLY early next week...at least I hope.

Especially when you do it part time, and have to rely on apparently unreliable partners...

The first crank pulleys will leave TOMORROW!!! I'm really excited to start getting them out. They do take some time to put together. The timing wheel is screwed in and it is a tight fit. I am sending off an unandozed one tomorrow to one guy and a few anodized ones will get out as well. The rest will get out next week.
The weather here has been terrible and the anodizer closes when it snows heavy. Something I wish I knew earlier. I'll post some pictures for you guys.
