Got my white 2014 Mazda sGT hatch

:
2017 CX-5 GT w/ Premium Pkg.
Ended up getting this car for under invoice, via internet sales guy and thanks to some car show rebate thing that ended today. Not sure what it was but didn't care. The car came with dealer installed tint which I didn't want. They didn't charge me for it but I will have to pay to remove it. I think it's limo tint, too dark for me and it's not the kind of tint I want =/ Anyways, they threw in a couple free oil changes and free car wash for life, plus 20% off accessories for the first year or something.

Funny how I originally wanted the white sGT hatch when I first saw it. Over time I changed my mind wanting a sedan and then silver and in the end, I ended up with the car I originally wanted. I didn't plan on getting a car today, I wanted silver but wanted to check out the white today. Saw it in person, next to white sGT sedan, and really like it. The white really shines, even at night. It looks brighter than other white cars for some reason. No wonder I fell in love with it when I first saw it. As much as I love the sedan, I needed the bigger trunk opening. Sedan was too small. Btw, this place had so many red/almond sGT on the lot. I got the only white left. Saw a few black and blue but still not yet seen titanium flash.

Oh yeah, at first they gave me 2.9% for 60 months but the finance guy was able to lower my interest to 1.49% if I get the extended warranty, 7 years 100,000 miles, which was around $900 or something. Maybe you guys still looking can give it a try too.

First thing first, gotta go get rid of that tint tomorrow :(

I think the MSRP for the 7 year/100K ext warranty is around $2450 from what I saw on the price sheet the finance guy showed me.
I passed.

I'm scouting around for a S Touring Hatch right now and im trying to get it at or below invoice as well. Not sure if it helps to pay in cash but hopefully it happens lol. It looks freakin' good in white! It's one of the only cars that I've seen that looks super good in white. The lines are all there and it doesn't mess up the shape of the car. You bought from Browning Mazda in Cerritos I take it?

Hmm actually the 7 year warranty is around $1300. I didn't really need it but I was was asking the finance guy how I can get a lower interest rate and he said I can take the extended warranty which would only increase my monthly payments by $4 plus an additional 3 months so 63 months financing. Added it up and comes out to around $1300. I'm okay with that, since I'd rather pay it towards that than interest lol

And yeah, I got it at Browning. Funny thing was I went to the Alhambra Mazda and they were hard to haggle with. Few days later the sales guy I dealt with texted me and said he's no longer working for Mazda and that I should give Browning a try, through their internet sales. Got a quote from them which was very close to the price of white sGT sedan I wanted from Alhambra plus they had an additional discount that day due to the OC car show or something like that. Supposedly the price they gave me via email already included the car show discount but his email said I would get an additional discount if I did it today (yesterday). They ended up honoring what they said in the email and gave me the discount again so that brought it to just under invoice. Give them a try, they're very easy to deal with compared to the other dealers I've went to.

I bought my 2006 s GT sedan from them and had pretty much the same experience. Got a great price via email, at or near invoice. Went down and signed all the paperwork, they offered a lower interest rate if got an extended warranty. The extended warranty turned out to be a third party company and not through mazda. The warranty company went out of business several years later. Was a pain when I went to get some warranty work done.

... so nice, can't wait for mine coming ( Gt sedan white, Vancouver)

Hmm interesting. Not sure what kind of warranty it is, I just assumed it's Mazda or something. The guy told me that it's all done at their location.

Ok good to know. I'm talking to Star Mazda in Glendale right now and Tuttle Click in Irvine. The latter is offering me a white S Touring for invoice. Puente Hills and Culver City didn't have what I want. I'll check Browning and South Bay and see if they have any S Touring hatches in stock.

I'm liking the white more and more. Can you post a pic of the rear at night? I'd like to see how it looks with the lights on. Thanks.

I really like the white too, especially now it doesn't get as hot as my previous black car lol Here are a couple pics from last night, of the rear end. The rear end looks subtly aggressive with the LED lights.

I'll probably take more pics after I get the car retinted this weekend.

Thanks! It has a pretty unique look. Now all I have to do is see the white in person....red too.

I'm going to double check with the finance guy to see what kind of warranty I got. I'm awaiting his email response. From what I was told, I'm covered for everything minus tires, brakes, rotors and some other things I think. I should have paid more attention to what I was getting, I was a bit anxious to get out of there and drive the new car lol

I might pull the trigger on the white S Touring hatch on Friday, will be going all the way to Irvine from Eagle Rock since they're offering me the car at invoice and will be giving me the loyalty discount too. The white just looks SO GOOD in this car. Lines are still there, and its really nice at night!

^ Good luck with your purchase, sounds like a good deal :D

Here's a crappy cell phone pic (zoomed) of my car, just had the dealer installed rear limo tint removed. Feeling naked, should be tinted some time this week or weekend. Btw, I got the mazda oem windshield sunshade up, this thing is annoying to put up =/

Thanks! Tuttle Click in Irvine offered me 27043 OTD not including the loyalty discount for a white sT hatch and alhambra offerred me 27444 OTD for a blue reflex sT with loyalty and local resident discount. The latter seems kinda sleazy though, they told me that the one I was looking at in Irvine was sold, so I called the internet sales guy I'm communicating with there and found out they still have the white one I asked for yesterday.

The lines of the new 3 really works well with pearl white just so clean and it really does look more expensive than it is.

$27,043 OTD, does that mean with tax and stuff? The white sTouring hatch is only $26,090 MSRP. I would have dealt with Alhambra since they're closer but they didn't give me a good deal.

Yup. I'm willing to go all the way down there on friday so hopefully everything goes well and they stick with their word. Alhambra's really pushy I told them I wanted to look at the one at Irvine first and they had me sign off s*** already so i backed off last minute.

Congrats on your car, that white looks fantastic. It was my color choice at first as well, but when I saw the soul red I had to change my mind (well that and no option for almond interior with the white).

Thanks. Yeah sucks they don't offer almond in the white, they do in the 6 so not sure why not the 3 =/ The red does look gorgeous in person, one of the best looking red in a car that I've seen. My first car was red so I didn't want red again lol
