you may have to adjust yours a bit pro fiz. once youve driven around for a day without any rattles, itll probably be good in that spot for a while

adjust how? It seems to be pritty strong so far, it's not hitting the break m.c. at all, and the pipe doesnt really have any play. How is yours on?

|Thrax|,

Do you have pictures as to where exactly you attached the second bracket (near the filter). I got the first bracket twisted and attached, but am curious about the second.

I bought a CAI off ebay and all I got was a couple curved tubes and a filter. I had to go to Autozone and stick a nasty exhaust extension on there, but I finally got it to just barelly stick out from underneath the car. When I'm in a garage its so freaking loud, I love it.

When I first installed it I didn't take into account that driving would put force on the filter, so less than 30 seconds after taking it for a drive, KABOOM!!! bye bye filter. Somehow the truck behind me that ran over it didnt seem to hurt it too bad, so I just stuck it back on and ziptied it and it hasnt fallen off again yet!

Before I got this I took off the stock intake and stuck a filter up there, and I don't know if it's just my imagination, but my car seems to take off a lot faster once I get going. w00t w00t

? 30 Mph winds inside your engine compartment? The collars coupled with the brackets strategically placed make my intake pretty rock solid.

Before, when it flew off, it was sticking out about 2 1/2 inches from the car which caused wind resistance when I drove.

Holy F!!
Make sure you get the bypass adapter for that thing!
wow

Oh and if you took off the filter you could probably snag small animals or childern with it.

The pictures of the original post "e-bay intake installation (page1 of the post)" are missing ??? could you re-post ??
