Got me a FC

I'm not sure what its called ill take some pictures It looks like that corksport stick on with some side skirts. came with the car I need new fenders, and a bumper cover because it was glassed on underneath.

maybe, what does it look like lol.

but i cleaned under the hood with some purple POWER!!!!!!!!

actually turned out pretty good, trying to fix the dam driver door, the handle wont open the door.

the handles on these beasts break like no other check underneath and make sure it didn't snap on the two connections that slide in and out of the door.

maybe, what does it look like lol.

Ill have pics at some point in the next few days.

i took the door panel off and there is a lil arm type thing that pushed down on a rod, the arm that is connected to the handle somehow got pushes up and is not engaging the rod. I think im going to pick up some JBweld or some silicone to fill in the gap and see if that will work.

so what does it take to do a 5 lug conversions?

and from the looks of it..... its would be a b**** to try and do a black interior swap. Was the black interior only the 10th anniversary?

5 lug conversion requires knuckles, hubs, brakes, and wheels

Black was available in other models as well.

My '89 GXL has a black interior :)

you know you want to gut it and give me your interior.

^^^ Fitting the FD3S wheels is not as straightforward as you think. You need to run a significant spacer and the hub sizes are different. Rishie from AutoRnd, who used to be over here quite a while back (he invented the Protege wheel/tire fitment guide) sells some combination wheel spacer/hub adaptors from time to time.

As for the black interior, that's staying with me. It's ony of the criteria I was looking for when I picked up my RX-7.

A little off topic but does your room smell like a tire store?

surprisingly no lol, alot off ppl that come in say that they cant believe they dont smell the tires. My guess is cause none are brand new tires.

Prolly not worth the time to fix... but a few pics.

so you want my bumper for your bumper?

Ill probally do it just cause ill be getting a newer one down the road and if it would help you out then we can trade.

Well my bumper cover is all covered with crap to hold on the stick on in place and it was done very poorly. I was just gonna head to wagners at some point and pull one off up there since i need a few other things anyway.

i can paint your car, do you have an air compressor, adjustable from 10-50psi?

just buy the material, and a case of beer, and throw me a few beans we could do it in one day......

i plan to do mine next year when it warms up after some custom body work...

really?........

still think i want to go with the flat white, i just need to pick up some fenders and so a lil body work to the rear panels.

they are on the MSP right now, rocking 245/45/16 up front and 205/45/16 in the rear haha

Def. will try for another set for the FC, def. the best rims i have came across though, perfect size and light as hell.

the set I got, is a pair reinforced, a pair non... weirdest thing. but yeah, they're not the prettiest thing, but sizing and weight DEFINITELY make em worth it. I'm really excited to unveil them in spring... hoping to get 225's stuffed under all 4 corners. whats your take on fitment? (if you don't mind me threadjacking a bit)

mine where same way lol, 2 reinforced and 2 not lol

I have the BC coils on the msp and im lower but not slammed by any means.

The 245s up front fit perfect, i get a little rub when i make left hand turns on the inside of the fender well and with no camber adjustment at all they rub on the the fender lip when i hit bumps.

i havent tested teh 245s in the rear yet but i think i will have some issues.

on my 17s i ran 225/40/17 and had no issues up front and the rear tire sidewall would scrape the fender but nothing a lil camber and fender rolling cant fix.

also everyone says to run 10mm spacers with the FD's, im not running any spacers and they fit fine.
