Damn man, I wish i could crank my msp to 14 pounds and retain good afr's. Please tell me how you accomplished this?!

haha honestly i didnt crank anything my wastegate blew out and so i ordered a new one and figured screw it i'll take out and see what it'll do at 14, around2500 rpms my gauge is pegged out at 10's(afrs) and then by the time i hit 14lbs im sitting at 11.9 to 12.1-.2 i dont know i think if i was to take my car to houston and run it just like it sits now i'd probably blow the motor for sure!! i've seen lots of fast cars come to abq and they run like crap cause its a whole different ball game here!

im from amarillo and elevation never crossed my mind of affecting car performance until i moved here with my awd turbo talon the car ran like sh!znit, until i got it retuned!!

Well i put that on quite some time ago, at the time i had the stock side mount and it was hotter then hell out so i couldn't get a real good feel of it. But it does give you more power no questions asked and i have had no problems with it since day one. The only hassle that you will run into is the egr line. I first used some hvac stuff for laundry machines that was flexible. Then when i had the motor out i redid the stock egr line to work by heating it up and bending it.

If I'm not mistaken, you don't need the EGR line... but don't ask me how. lol

Yea, you can always do the ERG block off plate.

At the track there was a black speed3 running 18 psi that put out 330 hp, I know my MSP wouldn't keep up with that, especially on a stock block/turbo.

0f course it was closed course and i roll around with sti's and z28's, cts-v's that are Highly modded no car on this video was stock, see i dont race b.s. honda civics and stock integras and think im fast i race with people i know are faster then me and try to figure out what i need to keep up!! I finally got my SS afc in and i ordered a new wastegate and am about to make a new boost controller. my car was hella slow that night i raced my friends dodge dually and when we i was running 8-9lbs we were neck and neck but at 14lbs i walked him easily that night we raced right before the night was over and it was pretty even so 500 some odd pounds of passenger meat was not good for "closed course racing" haha

The 2dr altima was sick he had a sh!t ton of bolt ons and a huge nitrous spray on that thing it was badarse

ok so let me get this straight?!?!! U are a "car enthusiast" right so what do u do with your car u mod it all up and just let it sit there??? Just wondering, what the point is? Why would u even mod it then?? To each is his own but for me i like racing its not like im doin it in the middle of the day with traffic, this "closed course event" happened at 2 in the morning and the only people on the highway were 25 cars all doin the same thing, honestly i could give 2 rat arses if u dont like it, I'm gonna conutinue to do it and you can countinue to make a garage queen, but to me why mod it if your not gonna show it off??? And yeah people track race them, thats not for me just my 2 cents!

The MSP was never meant for drag racing, and that is why you feel so alone on the topic. It was meant to take the great handling of the MP3 and combine it with a little more power for a track monster. I have my fair share of mods done to my MSP, but not because I want to street race every car that revs at me. I like "spirited driving" because you can do it pretty much anywhere (back roads and whatnot) and like I said our car is not meant for drag racing.

im not saying i race every car that revs, and if thats what a car enthusiast is i dont want to be that call me what ever u want but for me i mod my car to be able to beat other cars, and hey maybe i dont have the skill for track racing but i like straight line racing and thats what i'll countinue to do the vid i had up wasnt a bunch of random ass cars, we are all on a site and it was site "cruise" so its not like im racing every tom dick and harry that pulls up to me i race people that i know or have seen and we dont race on the streets we do it at like 2 am when NOBODYS out!!
