Would it be a good idea to install a blitz sbc-id boost controler, fatt-dc II Turbo timer , and blow off vaulve w/ filter. I have heard that without fuel mods this could not be such a good idea, i could get all these parts new for $900. should i go through with it ? any thoughts?

Nope. The Boost controller you can get for under 400, the turbo timer for 100, and the blitz BOV will not work properly.

A good boost controller with no hassles is the GReddy Profec B, you don't have to waste time tuning it, you get Stock boost, Low boost, and High boost at the touch of a button. You can find them for $175-250 in most places.
