Going Turbo, By Summer of 07

maybe he spent the night at the shop and slept in the hatch.

Or he's out driving the car and way too excited to post.

OH! HAHA

Last night went perfect, relocated the MAF, no more stalling the guy did a fantastic job on the welding, took care of the 2nd 02 sensor car pulls at 4 PSI right now, only problem now is my primary 02 sensor went out so that now has to be replaced, i believe Little Beavis has a extra one sitting in his garage.

I could go on and on and on, I was on the expressway last night 4th gear pulled and it pulled, and it pulled before i knew it i was doing at least 95-100 from a 70 mph pull.

I will post some pictures in a little bit, most likely tomorrow. i might just spend the 80 bucks on a universal 02 sensor and take care of it myself. that CEL just ticks me off

80 bucks? a universal should be cheaper than that. if it's the primary O2 sensor won't it also really screw up how the car runs? that's not just a CEL, I'd think it would put it into limp mode. Secondary O2 who cares, deal with the cel and order the sensor online so you don't get price *****.

The pcm has determined that the input voltage from oxgyen sensor 1 in bank 1 is to low for current operating conditions

(oxygen sensor 1 is closest to the cylinder head before the catalytic converter, while oxygen sensors 2& 3 are located further downstream and are typically mounted in or after the catalytic converter)

(Bank 1 identifies the location of cylinder #1, while bank 2 indentifies the cylinders on the opposite bank)

It doesnt feel like im running limp. thats what the code tells me

Have you tried replacing the 02 sensor yet? You'll never know if that's the case until you try - I'm going to have to do that with my MAF even though it's going to cost well over $100.

Although reading your post I have no idea how an 02 sensor could say that the voltage is too low in one particular cylinder (doesn't it collect readings from all 4?). I don't know if it would make a difference or not but is your first 02 sensor before or after the turbo? On the MSP setup it's before but like I said I have no idea if that would cause anything.

check my soldering job first before you spend the dough. It was pretty cold and the solder would not compleatly engulf the wires. I was just able to get some into the wire twist so they wold not come apart. that FM mod you got uses a O2 sensor to trick it from running lean so it just might be that. if ye havent checked yet.

yes all four collectivly

Reading the above post really makes me think the 02 sensor is gone. I have known people to ruin theirs just by twisting the wires too much - the sensors really are that sensitive.

no your wiring job was fine, if it wasnt i would have been getting that code all week, and i didnt, the CEL went away after we fixed the 2nd 02 which was after the 2nd cat i can take a picture and show you where my 1st 02 sensor is its on the downpipe.

so pretty much everyone is saying replace the primary 02 sensor and i will be sweet and dandy?
LOL, I think we're all saying you'll never know unless you try.

and I'm saying don't spend more than 50 dollars on a universal sensor.. if it's 80 bucks it better have a friggin mazda plug right on it.

well first and foremost I have to wait and see what Little beavis says if he has a 02 sensor we'll replace it by cutting off the old one and rewiring the new one if he doesn't have it are you saying I can get the one online for 100 bucks with the replacement plug? theres a website that I have saved and I will let you know when I get home from dinner which I'm at now.
