Grr its getting closer and im getting more anxious! even if we installing minor stuff! its soo exciting!

Yeah, if I don't get caught with fishing too much this weekend, I am going to go ahead and slap on the pillar gauge pod and go ahead and get the wideband and boost gauge hooked up and running(even though the boost gauge won't show any boost). As for the oil pressure gauge, i'm gonna wait until the big install.

Update: Saturday Got to Little Beavis's house around 9am Iracemine got there around 10:30 did leave till 9pm 12 hours of work. Major small things got accomplished. So here it is.

FPR: Installed
A-piller Pod,
Gauges,
Wiring: Installed Thanks Patrick for your help, Better be out next saturday =p
Modified Oil Pan: Installed

The problem we came across was the front bumper, apparently there is a support bar that we had to cut into, to mount the FMIC, Jeremy took it off and sliced into it, but more still needs to be cut off in order to mount the intercooler correctly. Also the Fuel Pressure Gauge is not displaying the correct amount of pressure. Jeremy found out how to fix the problem after but we need more vaccum lines.

Next Saturday

Transmission Cooler
Fuel Pressure Gauge Correction
Mount FMIC
Drill Holes for FMIC pipes

Gauges looks sick, I put the Amber color ballon over the light matches perfectly with my stock gauges.

LOL. no, I just realized that the fuel presure gauge was electronic and recived its signal via wire not line presure. so nevermind. have to say im pretty sore from laying upside down under the dash for an hour. but cant wait so see it all together.

You comming next saturday for the part 2 of the installation? Jeremy found the fix for the fuel pressure gauge but we need more vac line

I might be doing the 1.6 miata tear down. Ill find out more after it gets towed here. But I dont think I could be much help, all of that list is "fabbing" that only littil beavis knows what and wear stuff needs to go. Ill definitly be there for the final asembly.

ive been running my turbo auto p5 since september and its still holding on til now...good luck on your build!...just take your time and be sure to run in triptronic mode always...

I usually don't drive in auto unless I am on the cell phone, but that is like never. lol. I love driving mine in tiptronic. Won't be long until I get mine installed. What are you boosting?

same.

around 4psi due to a bad actuator if my boost guage is reading correctly...but i guess thats a good thing...non-intercooled til later this month...pulls pretty damn hard...

UPDATE: 1/20/07

Intercooler: Mounted, Balanced and Installed

Transmission Cooler: Mounted and Installed - had a minor leak with the stock hose fitting into the cooler, had to take the bumper off twice and fit another worm clamp on to it, it stopped leaking.

Fuel Pressure Gauge: Gauge is now corrected and installed properly, reads at 35 PSI at idle 41-42 while car is is being driven.

I am collecting pictures right now and will post on final installation date:

right now we are aimming for first weekend in feburary 2/3/07 we are waiting for some piping for the intercooler, and then we need to get some things tig welded, but everything is comming together nicely
